The most beautiful thing I can reward myself with; Planning a holiday discovery trip. Traveling during Eid Al-Fitr or Al-Adha is very exciting, but you need to plan in advance so as not to get frustrated by the crowds. I strive to spend one of the two Eids in a new destination, with the aim of getting to know the atmosphere of Eid in a new place. Always, before I book for Eid travel; I plan ahead and know what to do and what to avoid, including:

What you should do:

1. Travel Planning with a Fun Twist:

Advance planning is key to making the most of your Eid’s trip. But why not make it more fun? Create a themed itinerary that includes local traditions and celebrations and consider reaching out to locals or other travelers on social media for tips and recommendations. By planning ahead and adding your own unique touch, you can create an unforgettable travel experience.

2. Choose your destination wisely:

Choosing a destination known for its festive atmosphere during both Eid’s can be a great way to fully immerse yourself in the holiday experience. But don’t just go to any destination, choose one that suits you and your travel style. Whether you’re exploring the colorful souks of Marrakech or immersing yourself in the vibrant culture of Istanbul, choose a destination that speaks to your heart. After you plan to travel and plan for Eid, all you have to do is choose your destination wisely, meaning that the destination is suitable for you.

3. Try new foods and foods with enthusiasm and excitement:

Food is a huge part of any travel experience, and during both Eid’s, you may have the opportunity to try traditional holiday dishes or other local specialties. But don’t just taste the food, savor it with enthusiasm! Visit local food markets, try street food, and take part in cooking classes to fully immerse yourself in the local culinary scene. There are some destinations that offer traditional Eid Al-Fitr food so all you have to do is try these traditional Eid food with enthusiasm.

4. Check and confirm working hours and public transportation timings:

During Eid, many businesses, attractions, and public transportation systems may have different opening hours or be closed entirely. So, check the opening times in advance and plan your activities accordingly. Also, be aware of any potential transportation disruptions or delays during the holiday season.

What you should avoid:

1. Avoid overspending without putting a ceiling on your spending:

While it is important to stick to a budget to avoid overspending, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy your travels. Find affordable accommodations, transportation, and activities, but don’t sacrifice your travel experience to save money. Find a balance between budget and enjoyment, so you can make the most of your travel this Eid. Here you have to be aware of travel expenses in order to spend money without spending or excessive.

2. Avoid cultural intolerance and accept all cultural differences with open arms:

As you travel during Eid, be open and respectful of cultural differences. Embrace differences and learn to communicate with local people, ask questions and participate in cultural activities to gain a deeper understanding of local customs and traditions. By embracing cultural differences, you can create meaningful travel experiences and broaden your horizons. Then you will return to the homeland and your culture is slightly elevated because of your discovery of some new cultures that will dye your culture with a new cultural look.

3. Avoid sadness and sad memories:

The Eid is a festival of happiness and creating new beautiful memories. It is also a time for celebration and joy. Don’t be afraid to embrace the festive spirit. Wear traditional clothes, try local foods and sweets, and connect with the locals to fully immerse yourself in the holiday experience. From attending local prayer services to enjoying colorful displays, there are plenty of ways to dive into the festive spirit and fully embrace it during both Eid’s Al-Fitr and Al-Adha excursions.

I take advantage of the holidays to travel, as I try to spend one of the holidays and travel with the aim of discovering the atmosphere of Eid in various destinations because each destination has its own atmosphere. Therefore, I try hard to discover, as much as possible, the atmosphere of this holiday in some destinations, so that it is a cultural addition to my cultural crop. For me, memories of traveling during Eid are unforgettable because they are associated with a special occasion. I hope the article was useful and you benefited from it. Eid Mubarak and Happy New Year.
